Respite

In this painting I, again, took on the challenge of creating the look and feel of rapids in the Stein River. I also wanted to create some of those moments when you can see through to the rocks. In those pockets of calm I imagined where creatures might find a place to rest before re-engaging with the current.

This is my third Stein River painting.
