Time For A Dip

My friend, Sue, and I were looking at some of my photos of Boundary Creek. Being an avid birder, Sue suggested that I put some American Dippers in a painting. When she told me they are the only North American song birds that swim and dive for water bugs and minnows, my interest was piqued. Searching for information about these little beauties, I came across some audio of there song. You would absolutely recognize it if you've ever spent time by a creek or river. I've been enchanted by these unassuming little birds.
